Farm Fresh

Another reason why I delight in spring: The downtown farmers market opened in March.  It's part of my Saturday morning routine, although I need to work on getting there closer to 8 AM when it opens.  The crowds are intense by mid-morning.  Last weekend I tried doing a bike + MAX (train) combo to get there and back.  It was lots of fun riding both forms of transportation with a basket overflowing with greens.
Farmers Market Omelet: Two duck eggs, leftover roasted asparagus, a little Swiss cheese, sea salt, pepper.  All nicely sauteed in some of my favorite ghee.  Yum.
