Here is the biggest of the projects I tackled this Christmas -- a crib-sized quilt for my 18-month-old niece. I've only *completed* one other quilt in my life (with a substantial amount of help from my mom), so there was definitely a learning curve associated with this project. My mom came to the rescue again and helped me quilt the border so it would be done by Christmas morning. I definitely learned the benefits of using a small quilting needle, as that helped the stitching go much quicker. Now I feel ready to move onto my next quilting project ... or perhaps just get back to those crazy-quilt squares I've been working on forever.
