Travel

Today we're heading east to visit the fam in Southeastern Washington. Interstate 84 through the Columbia Gorge had been closed for three days due to the bad weather conditions, but it was just opened at 7 AM this morning. We likely have a long day ahead of us, but the pull to be with family at Christmas is strong. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the recent weaving creations coming out of the studios of Elizabeth and Priscilla. It always amazes me how prolific they are with their craft. Here is a favorite towel that Liz wove for me several years. It's always a treat to find it carefully wrapped in the box of Christmas ornaments each year.
